Historically, the first chatbot to be created was developed in the 1960s by MIT professor Joseph Weizenbaum[2]. The chatbot was named Eliza. Eliza was created to simulate human conversations and worked by pairing words entered into it by users with possible scripted answers. Since Eliza, we have witnessed the development of more sophisticated chatbots, including Siri, Alexa, and Cortana. A chatbot is an excellent tool for quick interactions. It saves time that would have been used to search for information online.
